Galaxy Warriors #1 - Huk

 HUK THE RED BEARD BARBARIAN! 

Today I would like to introduce Huk, the most famous barbarian from the Galaxy Warriors series by Sungold. Huk was characterized by a thick red beard and a horned helmet in the style of the Vikings. This was a detail that was strongly remembered by all fans of this series, making him one of the most recognizable heroes of the Galaxy Warriors universe.

The equipment of our fearless red-haired warrior often consisted of a long barbarian sword and a shield. There were also variants with an axe, which in my opinion fits the character of this heroe better.

It is worth mentioning that the famous image of Huk's face is due to the equally famous artist Frank Frazetta, whose paintings in the Heroic Fantasy style inspired the creators of Galaxy Warriors to create the designs of the figures.

Huk appeared also in two different types of bracers and different beard colors; orange and yellow. Cool, isn't it?

In addition to the Galaxy Warriors series, Huk also appeared in other series such as Galaxy Heroes and Freedom Fighters. However, it differed little from its original. Despite its many incarnations, Huk still remained the good old Huk.

For me, he's in my top 5 favorite Galaxy Warriors figures. The Huk figure has a strong personality and charisma almost as strong as Hulk Hogan himself. So, my friends, take your vitamins, read books, and exercise! 💪😎

Hello everyone on my new blog Deathtrap Dungeons. I'm Keeper and I come from Poland 😊🇵🇱 This will be content dedicated to Galaxy Warriors figure series and other similar figures from the KO-MOTU branch.

But wait, what is Galaxy Warriors, you ask? Well, it is a series of figures strongly inspired by the character of He-Man from the MOTU series. Many people believe that these are pure bootlegs of the MOTU series, but this is a common mistake. The Galaxy Warriors series is a unique collection of figures that was only inspired by He-Man and the rest of the Mattel brand figures in terms of the muscular physique of the heroes. In fact, Galaxy Warriors is mainly inspired by the works of the artist Frank Frazzetta, where all the weapons, graphics on the blister card, mount beasts, and heads of the figures are blatant theft from Frazetta's Heroic Fantasy paintings. I would be tempted to say that these are more bootlegs of Frank Frazetta's ideas than MOTU's! 😂👍
